Kharchevnikov's (rus) video was released, where he tells trivial things about TON and the projects launched on this platform, which he sees from the outside. I want to continue this topic and discuss more practical schemes that are now running on TON.
The TON blockchain has now become a real magnet for scammers. Seeing people raise millions of dollars in a matter of hours, many people come to create their tokens with one goal - to raise money. I am approached by a lot of people asking me to help tell about their projects (yes yes, I don't advertise all scam), so I have information about ways to launch such schemes.
The simplest way. People borrow money, for example, 15 thousand dollars. They create a Telegram channel, make a description of the project, run it for a few days and open a token presale. They use that money to buy ads from local publics, raise over 15k, and don't even release the token. Just disappear and delete the channel. Now, when many people have already lost their funds, presales do not bring the expected profit, and fraudsters after buying advertising even remain in the minus, but still leave.
Hence the immediate conclusion and the second method - to raise more funds, you need to come with your audience. So various media personalities launch their tokens. They have an audience, and they create a token with one purpose, to "shave" it. This is how about ten large blogger tokens appeared on TON, which after fees, launch of trades and several rate hikes do nothing with them.
There is also a combination of the first and second types. Some people create a Telegram channel, start running it, and go to media personalities for advertising. But not just for advertising, but they do it natively, so that everyone thinks that it was the media person himself who launched the token. But things are different at Tonkeeper. Today they announced that have removed the TON fee for gas in their wallet when transferring USDT and Notcoin.
First, they introduced the new W5 wallet standard that was announced last year. All this time, they've been working hard to improve and test it to reduce gas usage to a minimum (and continue to do so).

It was really fun, especially the last day. All month nobody did anything, but at the last moment projects got active and started pamping their tokens. I thought until the last that the average was taken into account and it was useless, but as it turned out, no. So KINGY gave up his position and the most dodgy ones won.
Why did ARBUZ win? The secret is simple. Meta decided to invest the potential prize already in farming for 2 weeks. 1. Difficulties with the hTON token. A lot of people didn't want to figure out what a liquid steak was. While it could have given them a small boost, many just didn't do it. Others who did, while they figured it out, time passed, and there counts the average TVL.
2. Incorrect re:doubt counts in the rankings. They didn't know how to account for TVL with illiquid pairs, which hTON was. I convinced them it was an important and liquid token, but even when they recalculated, the liquidity was still less. I think DFC lost in the second season for this reason, because his pairing with tsTON was not counted at all.
3. Promise for first place. I promised to give away 80% of the prize to those who supplied liquidity if I took first place in the ranking. But when ARBUZ took first place by a large margin, it became clear that the prize would not be shared, and many people left the token because farming in other pools was more profitable. The prize for the ranked token will only pay off my marketing and stigma costs in the KINGY GM BOT.
What were the benefits of experimenting with Hipo? I rarely arrange collaborations, but I liked the Hipo project from the very beginning. So I agreed right away. They have small budgets and couldn't help with boosts, but they still contributed $1000. They helped with the development of a smart contract that automatically added your TON to a couple liquidity pools. It made user adoption a lot easier. I didn't have to explain what to do or where to go: I just went in, sent a TON and that was it.
When the boost was over, people started gaining knowledge to get their TONs back out, and as we know, knowledge and experience is the most valuable thing in crypto. First they learned what a liquidity pool was, then they learned what liquidity staking was, and then they learned what volatile losses were. The end result was one solid plus from an educational standpoint.
Would I collaborate with someone in an open league again? No. Only with pairs that are accepted by everyone (USDt, TON). Even CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, DexScreener were showing that I had no liquidity in KINGY even though it was almost $4M.
Bottom line, as an experiment - it was an interesting experience, although it was expensive. Thanks to everyone who believed till the last. More wins to come

Pulled another 1000 tons from Adsgram - advertising in Watermelon Clicker.

ALENKA - why not?!
Recently a meme token $ALENKA has appeared, dedicated to one of the employees of TON Foundation. It was launched with the support of Max from STON.fi, who actually became its main PR person.
Why I didn't participate (even though I knew about the token before it was created) and why I wouldn't advise you not to: meme tokens exist because of great support and fame. For example, Durev, Dick, ARBUZ reach a huge audience. Anyone on the planet knows what a Dick (penis) is😁 . But even with watermelon, we are already losing part of our audience. If it had been called watermelon, everyone would have understood what it was about and it would have been much easier to PR it.
It's a similar story with Alenka. Alena is known by podcast and appearances..... And that's it. It's not well-known enough for the meme-token to reach significant heights. Local memes can't grow globally. Alena gets fired tomorrow and the project closes. And I don't think she's comfortable with it. What to listen to "where is Alenka sold?", "how much is Alenka?", "when will Alenka grow?" (her height is small), "what is the use of Alenka", "can we take Alenka", and so on.
Because meme tokens are localized, they only spread amongst their own people. That means those who go in first will shave those who come in later. Why deceive her own people? Agree, this is absurd. Just shifting money among a closed group.
So if you want to launch a meme-token, think about the concept. That's the most important thing. The concept of your meme token should be original, funny and appeal to a wide audience.
